As you can see, the cake is made from the simplest ingredients. It only takes a few basic kitchen manipulations to make this delicious dish.

Ingredients

For test:

  • 🍓Flour - 600 g.
  • 🍓Dry yeast 11g - 0.8 sachet
  • 🍓Vegetable oil - 2-2.5 tbsp. l.
  • 🍓Sugar - 1-2 tbsp. l.
  • 🍓 Salt - 1 tsp.

For filling:

  • 🍓Green onion - 1 medium bunch
  • 🍓 Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • 🍓Processed cheese - 1 pc.
  • 🍓 Raw rice - 30-40 g.
  • 🍓 Sour cream - 1-2 tbsp. l.
  • 🍓Salt
  • 🍓Pepper

How to make a pie with egg, rice, melted cheese and green onions

Yeast rising

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk, wait 15-20 minutes until they rise with a hat.

Add salt, vegetable oil and gradually adding flour, knead a soft dough. Leave it in a warm place for 40-50 minutes so that the dough doubles in size.

Now preparing the filling

Now we prepare the filling for the pie: cook rice and eggs. We cut the finished eggs, chop the onion, grate the cheese, add sour cream, salt and pepper, then mix everything.

Rolling out a round layer. Laying out the filling

We roll out a round layer from the dough, put it in a greased or covered form so that the sides are closed, leave 1-1.5 cm. Cut off the excess edges. Lay out the filling.

Roll out another smaller circle

We roll out another smaller circle, put it in the center of the pie, pinch the left edges. To decorate the cake with a mold, we make Christmas trees, put them on top. Brush with egg and let rise.

Bake the cake at 170°C

Bake the cake at 170°C until golden brown. You can eat both hot and cold.
