Vegetable broth is an essential ingredient in thousands of dishes. In most cases, such a broth is used to prepare first courses, such as, for example, soup.

If you have leftover broth, you can easily freeze it for later use if necessary.

Ingredients for vegetable broth

  • 🍒Water - 1 liter
  • 🍒Onion - 1/2 pc.
  • 🍒Potato - 1 pc.
  • 🍒 Carrot - 1 pc.
  • 🍒Celery - 1 stalk
  • 🍒 Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • 🍒Olive oil
  • 🍒Salt

How to make vegetable broth

Vegetable broth

Wash vegetables. Peel potatoes, onions and carrots. Remove skin from tomatoes.

Vegetable broth

Pour cold water into a saucepan, add chopped vegetables, salt and pour a little olive oil. Simmer the vegetable broth for about 30 minutes with a lid over low heat, while maintaining a slight simmer. Strain the finished broth. Apply both hot and cold.
