Ingredients for mushroom soup

  • 🌽 Fresh or frozen mushrooms (whatever you like) - 450-500 g.
  • 🌽 Potatoes - 600 g.
  • 🌽 Carrots - 150 g.
  • 🌽Onion - 150 g.
  • 🌽 Bay leaf - 2-3 pcs.
  • 🌽 Salt - to taste
  • 🌽 Pepper - to taste

How to cook mushroom soup

  • 🌽 If the mushrooms are large, they need to be cut.
  • 🌽 In boiling water (3-3.5 l), add mushrooms, salt, pepper and cook for 15-20 minutes. Fresh mushrooms should be cooked a little longer - 30-40 minutes.
  • Finely chop the onion.
  • Grate carrots on a fine grater.
  • 🌽 Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes and add to the mushrooms. Boil for approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • 🌽 Then add the grated onion with carrots and cook until the potatoes are ready.
  • 🌽 At the end of cooking, throw in the bay leaf and take it out 15 minutes before the soup is ready.
  • If necessary, add more salt to the soup.
  • 🌽When serving, sprinkle mushroom soup with herbs.
