Creme brulee
Creme brulee is a dessert made from cream, egg yolks and sugar with a typical brown sugar crust. Usually the crust is obtained by dissolving sugar with a torch, but at home you can put dessert on top of the oven (grill mode) and wait until a delicious crust forms.
Creme brulee ingredients
- 🍌 Cream - 250 ml.
- 🍌 Milk - 100 ml.
- 🍌 Vanilla - 1 pod
- 🍌 Egg yolks - 4 pcs.
- 🍌 Sugar - 60 g.
- 🍌Brown sugar - 30 g.
How to make creme brulee
Put the vanilla pod in a saucepan with cream, milk and boil. Then let cool. If there are no vanilla pods, you can substitute vanilla from a bag.
Mix the egg yolks and sugar in a saucepan.
Pour the mixture with cream into the yolks in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
Strain and pour liquid into molds. Put them in a pot of water and put them in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 50 minutes.
A film forms on the surface.
Sprinkle Creme brulee with brown sugar and to form a crust, place in the oven at 200°C in the highest part on the grill mode until a crust forms.
