We offer you a step-by-step recipe “Kefir fritters”. There are many opinions that pancakes can only be baked with yeast, but when you cook them according to this recipe, you will immediately understand that this is not so.

The advantage of kefir fritters is that they are very useful, and it takes much less time to cook than yeast fritters. The whole process is done at once, without waiting for the dough to rise.

Having prepared pancakes on kefir, you will immediately fall in love with them and will cook them all the time!

Ingredients for pancakes on kefir

  • 🍌Kefir - 1 cup
  • 🍌 Water - 40 ml.
  • 🍌 Egg - 1 pc.
  • 🍌 Flour - 300-350 ml.
  • 🍌 Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
  • 🍌 Salt - 1/2 tsp. without a slide
  • 🍌Soda - 1/2 tsp. without a slide
  • 🍌 Vegetable oil - for frying
  • 🍌 Butter - for greasing pancakes

How to cook pancakes on kefir

  • 🍌Mix kefir with water and heat slightly.
  • 🍌 In the bowl in which we will prepare the mixture, put salt, sugar, egg and pour slightly warmed kefir. Stir thoroughly until foam appears on top.
  • 🍌Add flour, dividing it into 2 or 3 servings. Mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps.

We do this in order to make it convenient to mix.

  • 🍌 You should get a thick mass that does not drain from the spoon, but comes off with a viscous, thick mass. For mixing, it is better to use a fun, it mixes quickly and breaks up lumps.
  • 🍌After the mass is ready, add soda and mix thoroughly again.
  • 🍌 Before cooking fritters, heat the pan and melt the butter in it. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.

We recommend frying pancakes on kefir over medium heat so that the pancakes are well baked. And to flip the fritters, use an extra fork to support them, then your oil will not splatter on the stove.
